Niambi is a social change champion, community mobilizer, advocate and fund development specialist who has dedicated her career to strengthening capacity for marginalized, and at-risk communities through revenue generation, program development and EDI roles.
Over the last two decades, Niambi has advanced through increasingly senior leadership roles within the health charity and social justice sectors, where her unique leadership style incorporated partner-led, community centred strategies to ground the work. She has also served as a professor at Seneca College where she teaches Strategic Planning and Organizational Partnerships courses in the Nonprofit and Leadership Management Post Graduate Diploma program. Niambi is currently the Executive Director of the Malvern Family Resource Centre.
Niambi also believes in the power of giving back to the community and volunteers with several charities, groups and associations focused on female and youth empowerment, poverty alleviation and equity work. She strongly believes that we all have a responsibility to drive change, end stigma and eliminate barriers so that all people have equal access to power and personal agency.
Niambi joined our board of directors in June 2026.
