We have outlined the steps below to help make the process as simple as possible.

Step One: Review the Eligibility Criteria

Make sure you have reviewed and qualify under our Eligibility Criteria.
If you are unsure, or have any questions regarding the Microloan Program or the application process, please inquire here.

Step Two: Gather Required Documents

To help you in developing your application, business plan and cash flow statements, please visit our Tools & Templates or Useful Links & Resources pages.

  • Your Business Plan;
  • 12 Month Cash Flow Projection;
    (Your cash flow projection must include your loan and loan payments)
  • Your Personal Credit Report with the Credit Score;
    You can request your credit report & score through Equifax or TransUnion or by visiting Equifax at 5700 Yonge St, Toronto
  • Your Resume;
  • Your most recent Notice of Assessment;
  • Your Business Registration.

For Professional Development (Course or training cannot be more than 12 months in duration):

  • Letter of Enrolment outlining the training program or course details, start and end date, fees and any other related information;
  • Resume;
  • Credit Report with Credit Score;

Please use the checklist at the back of the loan application form to ensure you have all the documents we need to process your application. Forgetting to send us any of the required documents will increase the time it takes to process your loan.
